Mailing Tings

Mailing Tings to Jamaica!
I couldn’t be more excited to get bits of hellos and love in the mail! I have had many questions on mailing things to Jamaica, which is good as it’s a bit more complicated than in the States. No worries, though, it’s nothing you can’t handle.
While it might seem to make sense to put “White Woman, Top Hill PO, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica",  your lovely card or package will not reach me—or Brooke! ;-) So it goes ...
In general--
If sending cards or small things (i.e. cds, book, etc) please mail to me:
Jennie Brennan
Top Hill PO,
St. Elizabeth, Jamaica

If sending donations or larger items (of value) please send to me under FORU:
Mark the item as “donation” and mail to:
Friends Of the Redeemer
c/o Jennie Brennan
Top Hill PO
St. Elizabeth, Jamaica

The difference is that on most sent goods addressed to me, I will have to pay duty and tax to receive the item (small items typically get through without having to pay).  However, as FORU is also established as a non-profit in Jamaica, we can receive items from the PO without paying duty or tax.
If you’re not sure, feel free to ask away! (We’ll learn together!)
Good luck and I’ll be looking forward to hearing from you soon!
